Registration in AMDEC courses from a private school student will only be reviewed after the following documents have been submitted to the AMDEC Office:
If you are a Visa student and attending an Ontario private school, please discuss your eLearning options with the Student Services Department at your private school. They will contact AMDEC to discuss fees before you are registered.
AMDEC does not register students directly. Please contact your local publicly funded Ontario secondary school to discuss registering at that school for the purposes of taking eLearning courses.
AMDEC registrations must be completed through PRISM. School guidance counsellors will find the PRISM login page at this link: https://prism.elearningstudents.ca/
If you are a guidance counsellor at an Ontario publicly-funded school, your board must be a member of the Ontario eLearning Consortium (OeLC) to register students for AMDEC courses.
If you are a guidance counsellor at an inspected, Ontario private school that has previously registered students with AMDEC using PRISM, please send an email to the AMDEC eRegistrar at AMDEC.Office@ed.amdsb.ca indicating your intention to register students in AMDEC courses for the new school year. An updated Private School Registration Agreement must be signed by your school Administration and submitted to AMDEC each year before registrations will be accepted.
If you are a guidance counsellor at an inspected, Ontario private school that has not previously registered students using PRISM, please send an email to the AMDEC eRegistrar at AMDEC.Office@ed.amdsb.ca to begin the process of accessing PRISM to register your students in AMDEC courses.
